These terms apply to everyone who uses this website. By using it you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
Membership accounts
When you apply for membership you agree to:
- give accurate details and keep your profile up to date;
- keep your password confidential and not let anyone else use your account;
- hold one account only;
- tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.
Creating an account does not by itself make you a member. An application is reviewed by the Site Admin, and membership begins only when the association approves a membership term. Fees, currency, term length and renewal rules are set by the association. An administrator records payments and fee waivers; the website itself takes no payments.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, extract or harvest the member directory, in whole or in part, or use member details to send unsolicited messages;
- use automated means to access the website beyond ordinary browsing, or to place an unreasonable load on it;
- attempt to gain access to any account, record or part of the website you are not entitled to see, or to work around any access control, rate limit or security measure;
- upload anything unlawful, defamatory, misleading, infringing or harmful, or any file intended to damage the website or its visitors;
- submit a photograph you do not have the right to use, or one that shows anyone who has not agreed to appear.
Content you submit
You keep ownership of what you submit. By submitting it you give the association permission to store it and, where this policy says so, to publish it — for example, the directory details of an approved member and a profile photograph an administrator has approved. You confirm you have the right to give that permission. We may decline, remove or take down any submission.
Our content
Material published by the association on this website may be read, printed and shared for personal, professional and non-commercial use, with the source acknowledged. Documents issued by government or the courts remain subject to their own terms.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and may suspend or revoke a membership term in accordance with the association’s rules. Where we do, we record the reason.
Availability and liability
The website is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law the association excludes liability for loss arising from its use, and nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always the one published on this page. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
